Casio has launched its latest G-Shock MR-G timepiece code-numbered MRG-G2000CB, which boasts an all-black design inspired by the traditional Kuno-Zonae a.k.a. “Black Guard” dark-armoured samurai warriors.
The G-Shock MRG-G2000CB is also equipped with Connected Engine 3-way which contains a module of smartphone pairing, terrestrial radio-wave and GPS time signal reception. The watch is coated with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating while the entire bezel is made of Cobarion, a new alloy material which happens to be 2-3 times harder than the regular stainless steel. This gives the watch an added protection against wear and tear. Other highlights include a water resistance function for up to 200 metres, a solar-charging power source and a World Time setting up to 39 cities.
