Audemars Piguet has unveiled a new timepiece dubbed the Royal Oak Frosted Gold 41mm. The new watch is an iteration of the 33mm and 37mm Royal Oak editions, with the exception of a bigger 41mm option. But the most prominent feature of all is the unique “hammering” technique used to create the new watch. The aforementioned “hammering” technique was first utilised by Florentine-born and London-based jeweller Carolina Bucci, in which the watch is given a special “frost” design.
The Royal Oak Frosted Gold 41mmm comes in white gold and also features a blue tapisserie dial, while the watch is powered by the automatic calibre 3120 movement. Available in a limited quantity of 200 pieces, the new watch is priced at US$55,000 (RM232,760) a piece.
