The Tudor Black Bay Bronze One has officially become the most expensive Tudor wristwatch ever sold for an astonishing CHF 375,000 during the recent Only Watch auction in Geneva. What’s even remarkable is that the timepiece reached over 75 times above the lower estimate of CHF 4,500 to CHF 5,500. The new world record also eclipsed the Tudor Black Bay One, which fetched over 100 times its lower estimate when it sold for CHF 350,000 at the Only Watch auction back in 2015.
Just like the name itself, the Tudor Black Bay Bronze One is made of aluminium bronze alloy with PVD-treated steel case back and domed sapphire crystal. The timepiece also features self-winding mechanical movement with bi-directional rotor system, a waterproof function up to 200m and a 70-hour power reserve. Finally, the Tudor Black Bay Bronze One comes in a khaki-green and beige fabric strap with bronze buckle.
