Roger Dubuis has passed away at the age of 79. The cause of his death was not released in the statement. The former Patek Philippe designer first established his namesake watch brand alongside his partner and designer Carlos Dias in 1995. Since the establishment, Roger Dubuis‘ luxurious watch products became well-known among many celebrity customers such as Gerard Butler and Sylvester Stallone.
“Roger Dubuis, our company founder, has passed away today at the age of 79. His renowned expertise in Haute Horlogerie, his disruptive vision, his human values will remain close to our heart. We are all committed to keep his unique spirit within our brand. Roger‘s passing is a grievous loss for all of us and the entire watch community. Our sympathies are with his family and close relatives,” said the company’s statement.
