Omega has been around for over a century, and the only way to get a genuine Omega watch is either from located-based boutiques or authorised retailers. But today, the legendary Swiss luxury watchmaker has finally made a quantum leap to the world of online sales platform by launching its own e-commerce for the very first time. The only gripe here is the brand’s e-commerce only available for customers who live in the United States as of now.
“By offering online sales in the United States, Omega can now reach fans in every corner of the country,” said Raynald Aeschlimann, president and CEO of Omega. “No one is restricted geographically, which will make us much more accessible. We also recognise that e-commerce is growing rapidly in the luxury sector and many of today’s consumers use it as their primary way to shop.”
Thanks to the launch of the e-commerce, customers can now look forward to purchasing some of the Omega‘s watches such as Seamaster, Speedmaster and Constellation models. In addition to that, the latest Seamaster Planet Ocean “Michael Phelps” limited-edition watch will also be sold exclusively online for U.S. customers.
