Renowned HK artist and toy designer Michael Lau has collaborated with Casio to launch an exclusive G-Shock MR-G timepiece inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Using the MRG-G2000HT model as the main aesthetic, the latest collaborative watch is made of a premium metal with a finishing derived from the classical Japanese Kasumi-Tsuchime technique that has been practised since more than a thousand years ago. The watch face boasts an all-around blue trim with a blue DLC coating and secured by a non-reflective-coated sapphire crystal plane. The watch also features a built-in Bluetooth GPS Hybrid Wave Receptor that is capable to tell accurate time keeping regardless wherever you are around the world.
The Michael Lau x Casio G-Shock MR-G watch is only limited to 500 pieces and will be available worldwide for the price of HKD$60,000 (RM32,881).
