“Putting my best foot backward“, “men in the mirror“, “teleport gone wrong” – so many references, so little time. And we’re not finished yet. KENZO Fall/Winter 2014 look book is eccentric, dimension-twisting, and definitely punny. So much more colorful than Versace.
Recite: “Teleport gone wrong.” (Cue the leg.) Check out THAT sweater.
“I forgot my key.” Side note: this is such an amazing shot. It puts all our eyes on the shoe.
Putting the hit KENZO Tiger on their watches.
A little on KENZO’s Tiger: When Opening Ceremony’s founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim first joined KENZO as the creative directors, they’re very inspired by the little tiger designs they noticed on KENZO’s past works. They both thought the tiger should be the new icon of the brand. The KENZO Tiger sweater was then born, and it became an instant hit during SS2013 fashion week. The sweaters apparently sold out in 2 days. You can read more about it here. (Max: I’m a little partial towards this tiger because it feels a little Ed Hardy.)
