Donatella Versace pays tribute to her late older brother, Gianni with the brand’s latest Spring/Summer 2018 collection during the Milan Fashion Week. The tribute also marked the 20th anniversary of Gianni Versace‘s death, who was murdered outside his Miami Beach home in July 1997 by serial killer Andrew Cunanan.
Set against the garden backdrop at the brand’s villa on Via Gesù 12, Donatella showcases vintage Versace collection redesigned for the millennial generation. Apparels including shirts, shorts, jackets and trousers are highlighted with patterns and pinstripes. Vibrant colours such as baby blue and soft pink can also be seen in pieces like round neck t-shirt with crisp white “Versace” branding on the chest, as well as matching pants.
