The all-female Ghostbusters reboot may have angered a lot of fans who adored the iconic 1984 original, but the Ghostbusters legacy continues to live on with a brand new collaboration in the form of a sneaker and a figurine, courtesy by the Japanese retailer atmos alongside fellow compatriot toy-maker Secret Base and iconic German footwear PUMA.
For the sneaker, the Ghostbusters edition is modelled after the signature PUMA Suede silhouette and features the movie’s recognisable quotes on the upper as well as the mini “no-ghost” signs. The tongue, in the meantime, is embellished with the co-branding of a white-and-green PUMA logo alongside the iconic Ghostbusters logo. The insole sports a Secret Base-revamped Ghostbusters logo with a half ghost skeleton seen on the right side.
Finally, rounding up the sneaker are the familiar Stay Puft Marshmallow Man graphic featured inside of a translucent sole, as well as triple co-branding of atmos, Secret Base and PUMA in blue colours on the white laces. The Ghostbusters sneaker is available in red and green colourways.
Apart from the sneaker, the pack also comes with a half-bone version of Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figurine. But if you purchase the premium pack, it either comes with a gold or silver edition of the iconic monster.
The packs will be available on December 23 at atmos for ¥24,000 JPY (RM917) for the regular pack and ¥30,000 JPY (RM1,146) for the premium pack.
