Last year, it was Marty McFly‘s (Michael J. Fox) iconic self-lacing sneaker taking the centre stage in the Back to the Future Part II-inspired Nike HyperAdapt 1.0.
This year, it’s Emmett “Doc” Brown‘s turn, the eccentric scientist role made famous by Christopher Lloyd in Back to the Future trilogy. Hailed once again from Nike, the American sports giant unveiled the “Doc Brown” colourway of their Vandal High Supreme. The upper boasts an orange canvas material, the same colour that can be seen in Doc Brown‘s kicks in the first Back to the Future.
At the time of writing, the “Doc Brown” colourway of the Nike Vandal High Supreme is currently set for the UK release on October 21. But the plan to release the sneaker globally remains unclear.
