New York lifestyle clothing brand Kith has teamed up with Nickelodeon to unveil an apparel collection for men’s and kids based on the classic ’90s cartoon series, Rugrats.
The Kith x Rugrats collection features a wide range of t-shirts and hoodies that emphasised heavily on the cartoon’s primary colours such as orange, yellow and red. The apparel comes with Rugrats‘ familiar logo and typeface, as well as paying homages to the beloved characters such as Tommy Pickles, Angelica Pickles, Chuckie Finster and twins Phil & Lil DeVille.
First premiered on August 1991, Rugrats revolves around the misadventures of four toddlers (Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil) and their bratty older cousin, Angelica Pickles. The cartoon series was such a huge hit among many kids, teenagers and adults alike that it lasted an incredible nine seasons until its final episode in 2004. Over the course of its 13-year run, Rugrats has won numerous accolades including 4 Daytime Emmy Awards and 6 Kids’ Choice Awards. The iconic cartoon series even inspired three feature-length animations including 1998’s The Rugrats Movie, 2000’s Rugrats in Paris: The Movie and 2003’s Rugrats Go Wild with varying degree of successes.
The Kith x Rugrats collection is currently available at all Kith shops as well as its official online store here.
