Gucci has staged its latest Spring 2018 runway show at the brand’s own headquarters during the Milan Fashion Week. The elaborate set is a mix of antiquity and modern aesthetics, complete with Tiber River-inspired bright blue and yellow runway and streetlights. There’s even an array of classical statues and other relevant life-sized replicas within the show’s classical backdrop from different eras such as Ancient Rome, Egypt and the Aztec Empire.
As for the clothes, it was a classic Alessandro Michele as usual. His Spring 2018 menswear collection was typically bold and quirky that inspired heavily by the ’70s disco and ’80s glam-rock style.
