Gucci has unveiled a new eyewear campaign for Spring/Summer 2017 with a one-minute video directed by Glen Luchford.
The video, which is perfectly scored to the 80s hypnotic synthesiser beats of Corey Hart‘s Sunglasses at Night, features a male and a female model donning Alessandro Michele-designed Spring/Summer 2017 eyewear collection at the backseat of a moving car.
Luchford, a veteran British fashion photographer and filmmaker, is credited to shooting Alessandro Michele‘s first Gucci campaign in 2015. He is also known for collaborating with various brands and magazines such as Chloe, Prada, Vogue Paris as well as Dazed & Confused and i-D. Luchford‘s other collaboration with the Italian luxury fashion label includes the wild animals-inspired Spring/Summer 2017 campaign and a pre-Fall 2017 all-black ad campaign.
