The wait is finally over, as the new Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller made her official runway debut at this year’s Paris Fashion Week to unveil her Spring 2018 collection.
For the menswear, Waight Keller displayed a lot of hipster attitude by mixing bold and muted colours such as red, maroon, purple, grey and black as well as different patterns ranging from stripes to leopard spots. The collection is a slim-fit combination of tailored garments and casual varieties that includes blazers, jackets, pants, and a T-shirt.
According to Waight Keller via WWD, she described her Spring 2018 menswear collection as “both parts of the business are super important and strong”.
