“At Diesel, we love Holiday Season. I mean, I love Holiday Season. It’s my favourite. But those sweaters? I mean, they’re cold, ugly sweaters for a reason. Definitely, no one from my team will ever think on wearing that. It’s a matter of style, you know?”
And so says Nicola Formichetti, the brand’s artistic director. In order to fight against the “ugly wool sweaters”, Diesel has launched a campaign cheekily dubbed “Say No To Uncool Wool“. For the men’s range, the “Cool Wool” apparel includes the likes of K-LOGOX knitwear in water green or black colour with cut-through Diesel graphics on the chest, a K-DINO grey knitwear embellished with a black-and-white T-Rex pushing a shopping cart graphics and a striped K-DOCK knitwear.
