Following their high-profile collaboration earlier this year, adidas Originals x Alexander Wang is back with a Season 2 collection.
This time, their latest collaboration features a campaign video inspired by the cycling and rave culture. Directed by Ryan Staake, the neon-infused video showcases two bike messengers dressed in adidas Originals‘ activewear as they cycled along the streets doing some deliveries, before hitting the club for some rave-party action.
“It kind of reminded me of Mad Max, when they’re going down [through] the desert and there’s people with huge speakers,” said Wang about the inspiration for his latest collaboration with adidas Originals via Vogue. “I liked the idea that they were all going to this destination, this underground, crazy rave.”
The adidas Originals x Alexander Wang Season 2 collection will be launched on July 29 exclusively in New York City, before the eventual global rollout on August 5.
