A little on KENZO’s Tiger: When Opening Ceremony’s founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim first joined KENZO as the creative directors, they’re very inspired by the little tiger designs they noticed on KENZO’s past works. They both thought the tiger should be the new icon of the brand. The KENZO Tiger sweater was then born, and it became an instant hit during SS2013 fashion week. The sweaters apparently sold out in 2 days. You can read more about it here. (Max: I’m a little partial towards this tiger because it feels a little Ed Hardy.)
