We love it when high fashion makes us laugh – not in the WTF way but in a good way. Thanks to the strange back-facing 60-year-old man in the picture above, we realised Loewe Fall/Winter 2015 Menswear look book actually came with a story plot.
We called it “The Spy of the 70s.”
Isn’t that obvious?
OK I digress.
Taking inspiration from Loewe’s past works and archives, the newly appointed (well, appointed in 2014) designer J.W. Anderson emphasises on boxy silhouette, loose tailoring and the 70s in this collection. (Of course, not to forget his signature “unisex” influence.) In every look, you’d notice it features at least one Loewe bag – this might be the brand’s strategy to push their accessory line.
