LVMH has announced the launch of a new e-commerce platform known as Clos19, which sells luxury champagnes, wines and spirits. The online platform also sells “exceptional experiences” ranging from “professional wine tastings” to the “art of hosting” to mastering the art of mixology.
“The whole concept behind Clos19 is around sharing and championing the art of hosting,” said Stephenie Watine Arnault, the founder and chief executive of Clos19. “It gives more immediate and sophisticated access not only to our exceptional products, but also provides the services, accessories and experiences that enable our audience to become the perfect hosts. There is an experience for every type of budget from the tastings to the exceptional ones which are much more aspirational.”
Stephanie Watine Arnault, who is also the niece of LVMH chairman and chief executive Bernard Arnault, explains further that the main objective of Clos19 is to “[sell] the whole experience around it [ranging] from the trip to the right hotel booking to the right restaurants in the Champagne region [as part of] the full package.”
Clos19, which is based in London, carries brands like Château d’Yquem, Dom Pérignon, Glenmorangie, Hennessy and Moët & Chandon. You can visit the platform right here to find out more about Clos19.
