Over the last 30 years since its inception in 1985, Dolce & Gabbana has launched a range of products such as apparel, sunglasses, underwear and fragrance for both men and women. But this year, the Italian luxury fashion house is taking a different route from its usual offering by teaming up with Italian kitchenware manufacturer Smeg to release a colourful line of kitchen appliances.
Dubbed “Sicily Is My Love“, the collection includes a blender, coffee machine, juicer, kettle and a toaster. Each of these kitchen appliances is beautifully adorned with motifs and vibrant colours inspired by Sicilian folklore. Your kitchen will definitely look alive than ever before with one of these products.
This is the second time Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg working together following their last year’s collaboration on the 100 hand-painted fridges for Milan‘s Salon del Mobile design fair, which cost at US$34,000 (RM149,345) each.
The “Sicily Is My Love” kitchen appliances are expected to be made available in October. For now, check out the collection below.
