In my impression, wine glass bottle is often designed with either black or green as the main canvas, with shapes ranging from the standard Bordeaux, Burgundy to the less common Chianti – a little understated if compared with the design possibility of a perfume bottle.
Here’s something different and new: If a diet coke reminds you of Karl Lagerfeld, Chandon Limited Summer Edition reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger.
Chandon Summer Edition isn’t the latest work by Tommy Hilfiger, but Chandon, a world-class winery in the United States since 1973, founded by Moët & Chandon, a French winery with a prolific 200 years of wine-making experience.
** Side note:
Speaking of Moët & Chandon, they also co-own the LVMH group. LVMH owns Louis Vuitton, Celine, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Kenzo, Fendi, Donna Karan, Loewe, Tag Heuer, Emilio Pucci, Berluti, Sephora, Mercier, Bvlgari and you-name-it. LVMH stands for Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, it’s a merger of Louis Vuitton + Moët & Chandon + Hennessy. Now, speaking of the larger scale of things… **
The Summer Edition is the latest offerings by Chandon to celebrate summer, and it was just launched in Malaysia recently. We’re invited to the Chandon Summer Edition Party on 26 June at TwentyOne Tables + Terrace.
Followed by mini “corset” fashion shows…
