Following the appointment of actor James Franco to front Coach for Men‘s upcoming fragrance campaign, Coach has finally revealed its new men’s fragrance.
Set to launch this September, the new Coach for Men fragrance is marketed for the “quintessential Coach “guy” — not man”, as according to the brand’s creative director Stuart Vevers.
“It’s intentional in as much as it is something that I’ve always used,” said Vevers. “I’ve always talked about the Coach guy — there’s a certain ease about that reference to me. That’s a really important part about what Coach is, Coach has that ease to it, that effortlessness that ultimately for me, translates as cool — that’s really a starting point.”
For the Coach for Men fragrance, the top notes consist of green nashi pear, bergamot and kumquat. Then, the heart of the fragrance continues with a scent of cardamom, coriander and geranium. Finally, the base is made up of Vetiver Haiti LMR, Suede and Ambergris. The new fragrance, which comes as a 12% Eau de Toilette, is crafted by perfumers Anne Flipo and Bruno Jovanovic from the International Flavors & Fragrances.
