It has been four months since Uniqlo last announced its high-profile collaboration with Loewe and J.W. Anderson designer Jonathan Anderson. Now, the two fashion heavyweights have finally previewed their Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
According to the Irish designer via press release, he stated: “For me, the point of doing this collaboration was that I believe in democracy in fashion, and what I hope will be achieved is that any age demographic can pick up and find something within the collection to relate. Doing something with Uniqlo is very interesting. It means you come up with a wardrobe which is universal and quirky.”
For menswear, the collection includes trench coats, tweed coats, wool-blended quilted jackets, ultra-light down jackets, crew neck sweaters, Oxford shirts, broadcloth shirts, flannel check shirts, graphic & striped tees as well as wool-blended trousers and denim work pants.
The Uniqlo x J.W. Anderson Fall/Winter 2017 collection is retailed from US$20 (RM85) to US$118 (RM505) beginning September 19.
