Tommy Hilfiger has named The Chainsmokers, the Grammy-winning electropop duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, as the new global brand ambassadors for menswear. The duo will represent Hilfiger Edition, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored, and Tommy Hilfiger sportswear.
“The Chainsmokers are at the centre of modern pop culture and their music resonates with a global audience,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “I admire the way they have carved out a new niche that fuses indie, pop, dance and hip-hop. Alex and Drew (Andrew Taggart) are truly the perfect definition of today’s Tommy Guy — their talent, optimism, unique sound and effortless cool have made them standout in the music world. Following the announcement of The Chainsmokers as the global brand ambassadors, 4,000 exclusively-designed green Tommy Hilfiger menswear bomber jackets will launch in Fall 2017 in Europe and the U.S., retailing at €229 (RM1,258) and $229 (RM958) respectively. In addition to that, Tommy Hilfiger has also released The Chainsmokers‘ collaborative music video clip titled “Young“. Watch the video below.
