Timberland has tapped Virgil Gadson as the new face of its footwear ad campaign. He will be promoting Timberland boots that come equipped with SensorFlex™ comfort system. That includes Killington Chukka as well as Kenniston 6-inch lace-up boots.
According to the Timberland website, the SensorFlex™ comfort system is actually a “three-layer outsole that delivers constant support, active cushioning and dynamic flex.”
A Philadelphia native, Gadson is best known for his hip-hop dancing style. He has appeared in the eighth season of So You Think You Can Dance as both dancer and choreographer. He is also adept in ballet, jazz, modern and tap dancing.
The campaign will debut in the March and April issues of GQ magazine. It will also be featured in the bus, subway and digital outdoor ads in key markets.
