Beginning mid-November this year, Nautica and Urban Outfitters will unveil their limited-edition, ’90s-inspired seven-piece capsule collection in all Urban Outfitters stores across the globe in time for the holiday season. The Nautica and Urban Outfitters collaboration will also feature the 19-year-old Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty to model for their latest collection shot in photos by Daniel Shea. Yachty himself is a longtime Nautica fan.
The seven-piece capsule collection will include long-sleeve & short-sleeve T-shirts, a pullover hoodie, a track jacket, track pants, sweatpants and a hat. And true to the ’90s-style, the collection comes with neon-centric colours and the price will be retailed from US$35 to US$99.
According to Karen Murray, the president of Nautica, she told WWD the collection “is a great way for us to showcase our heritage in a way that is relevant and current, while tapping into a very prominent vintage trend.”
Known for his 2015 breakout songs One Night and Minnesota, Lil Yachty, whose real name is Miles Parks McCollum, has previously debuted as a model in Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 collection at Madison Square Garden.
