Following the eco-friendly release of Mango Committed range earlier this year, the Spanish fashion label is back with their second sustainable collection. Apart from the existing uses of organic and recycled cotton, the second Mango Committed range also introduced new fibres, recycled wool as well as Lyocell rayon material.
With the launch of their second Mango Committed range, the company has “pledged to make 50% of its cotton sustainable by 2022”. Moreover, Mango‘s ready-to-wear vice president Daniel Lopez has also stated that the “future of (sustainable) fashion starts here”.
For the menswear, the second Mango Committed range includes a more functional design that includes corduroy suits, knitted jackets, brick-red shirts and utilitarian workwear-inspired dungarees.
The second Mango Committed range is modelled by Liya Kebede and Clément Chabernaud in the majestic backdrop of Iceland.
