Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest Spring 2018 menswear collection, in which artistic director Kim Jones particularly draws his inspiration from island hopping as well as a book called “The Atlas of Remote Islands: Fifty Islands I Have Not Visited and Never Will“.

“I was inspired by the idea of an island and of travel. Of moving easily from place to place, and experiencing these different pockets of civilisation, these different ideas simultaneously,” explained Jones.

As a result, the collection features a range of tropical yet laid-back apparel such as the brightly coloured Aloha and Hawaiian shirts in blue, green, red, orange and yellow. Other notable pieces include the oversized patterned t-shirts with colourful Louis Vuitton logo, a neoprene jacket as well as an oversized raincoat and accessories like the black/white Keepall and Monogram brown/blue waist bag.
