Dunhill has named Mark Weston as the brand’s new creative director. Weston also replaces John Ray, who departed the British luxury brand last January after three years in the role.
“The opportunity to creatively develop and design for [this] iconic British menswear luxury brand is rare and exciting,” said Weston in a statement. “Dunhill‘s innovative and design-driven heritage is a unique platform to build upon by creating purposeful products with an aesthetic that is classic yet relevant today.”
Prior to his appointment as Dunhill‘s new creative director, Weston was formerly a senior vice president for Burberry under Menswear Design-Apparel and Accessories division for three years.
“Mark brings an innate understanding of menswear and product design that will uniquely drive our brand and business growth forward,” said Andrew Maag, the brand’s new CEO who also formerly working for Burberry. “I am excited by Mark‘s appointment to lead the brand’s creative vision to the future.”
Weston will showcase his first collection for Dunhill at London Fashion Week Men’s in June, which includes upcoming pieces from Autumn/Winter 2017 and Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
