Dior Homme has tapped Japanese artist Toru Kamei to collaborate on an exclusive capsule that coincides with Kris Van Assche‘s Spring/Summer 2017 “FUN FAIR” collection.
The collection features the “FUN FAIR” punk-inspired design with Kamei‘s symbolic yet dreamy floral still life paintings. Kamei’s signature motif of skull and flowers can be found within his collaborative design with Dior Homme, which also shares the same visual resemblance of the Vanitas symbolic art during the 16th and 17th centuries in Flanders and the Netherlands.
The Dior Homme x Toru Kamei capsule collection is featured in every apparel from shirts to denim as well as footwear and leather goods like backpacks, and currently available at Dior Homme spots worldwide. Take a look at the Instagram clips below.
