Diesel has recently unveiled its Spring 2017 streetwear collection, as the Italian retail clothing brand draws major inspiration from the Latin culture.
“We’ve been inspired by dressing up, dancing and letting loose; the sun bleached colours of historic architecture and the iconic star symbol,” said Diesel‘s artistic director Nicola Formichetti. “We are curious and get excited by different cultures around the world. A global spirit has been part of the Diesel DNA since the very beginning.”
Among the Diesel Spring 2017 Latin-inspired streetwear collection are shawl lapel tuxedo blazers, ruffled shirts as well as shirts that come with matchstick motifs. Patched or embroidered star symbols, in the meantime, are seen dominating the edgy looks of the brand’s motorcycle and souvenir jackets. Classic black and royal indigo treatment in the denim range finally round up the brand’s latest collection.
