With the year 2016 coming to an end, adidas Originals has already ushered a brand new collection for 2017 called XBYO.
Described as a streetwear collection “inspired by the essence of three-stripes sportswear and driven by a trifecta of collaborative mastery”, the new XBYO draws major inspiration from adidas Originals‘ first-ever apparel range. This is especially true with the iconic cross motif taken from the 1959 adidas Italia sneaker, which can be seen on the back collar of the XBYO tees and sweatshirts.
The XBYO collection also featured a clean yet minimalist cut to classic sportswear designs, courtesy from the renowned pattern maker Satomi Nakamura. Finally, the entire XBYO collection is all made from a premium Japanese terry cotton from Yamayo Textiles. This is not the first time the factory partnered with adidas Originals since their collaboration has already stretched over the past 50 years.
Available for men and women, the XBYO collection is expected to arrive in stores on early January 2017.
