Coach makes luxurious yet affordable bags and this classy looking Coach “The Rainger” Leather Backpack is an example.
Also called the “American backpack,” The Rainger backpack is a classic in Coach’s offerings. The “ancestor” of this bag was first introduced in 1970 and it has gone through a few evolution to become what you see today.
The backpack has just the right size and volume (it comes with a laptop compartment that should fit a 13″ Macbook nicely) and it’s available in 6 colors, including a few very vibrant options such as Azure (blue) and Carmine (red.) My color of choice is Fog (as seen in the pictures) as it looks more premium and it helps to make dirt looks less obvious. Made of glove tanned leather (a type of soft leather initially made for glove,) you can expect the bag to “soften” along with wears.
Retailed at USD795, this classy backpack is an affordable luxury.
